Today’s project highlight features fuel oil tank cleaning and removal

SES was hired to close and demolish a 20,000-gallon #6 Fuel Oil Tank. The manufacturer reached the decision to close and remove because the availability of natural gas made the use of #6 Fuel Oil obsolete.

SES began by developing a flow process for removing the oil and cleaning the tank in very confined space restrictions. We then collected and processed the water and hazardous sludge and transferred them to the appropriate waste facilities. SES finished by demolishing and removing the clean tank for recycling.
