Project Highlights:

SES completed a comprehensive asbestos abatement and demolition project for a public utility. This involved removing 5,000 linear feet of asbestos-wrapped cable and over 10,000 square feet of asbestos panels. They also tackled select demolition tasks like removing former conduits, wall anchors on non-regulated piping, and partition walls.
On the third floor, they faced challenges with inaccessible brick switch chambers, which were resolved by removing a window and using a high-reach forklift for debris removal. Despite the project’s complexity, SES seamlessly transitioned between the abatement and demolition phases, minimizing schedule disruptions.
SES also managed the removal of abandoned asbestos-coated, lead-jacketed, and PCB-impregnated cables, as well as oil-filled equipment and cable junctions requiring PCB testing and analysis for proper disposal.
Their expertise in turnkey asbestos abatement and select demolition ensured efficient and high-quality solutions that met environmental regulations and adhered to the project schedule.
