SES Acquires O’Rourke Incorporated Construction Division
Sessler Environmental Services acquires construction division of O’Rourke Incorporated.
Macedon, NY – [June 11, 2024] – Sessler Environmental Services (SES), an industry leader in environmental contracting services announces the acquisition of the construction division of O’Rourke Incorporated.
Founded in 2016, SES, has grown into one of the largest environmental services contractors in New York performing abatement, environmental remediation, interior demolition, concrete saw cutting and removal, industrial cleaning, and environmental investigation services. Headquartered in Macedon, NY with a branch location in Oriskany, NY, this acquisition will add a branch location in Owego, NY.
O’Rourke Incorporated has been successfully performing environmental remediation, soil vapor mitigation, bulk storage tank removal, and abatement and demolition services since 1994. SES and O’Rourke Incorporated have collaborated on numerous projects in the southern tier and central New York regions, leading to the alignment and acquisition.
Tim O’Rourke of O’Rourke Incorporated has over 30 years of diverse industrial and consulting experience in the areas of project management, hazardous waste remediation, hazardous materials abatement, demolition, and construction safety. He has performed projects and maintains longstanding relationships with many top tier engineering and consulting firms, federal and state agencies, Fortune 500 companies, industrial facilities, institutions of higher education, and K-12 school districts. Tim is certified in the Comprehensive Practice of Industrial Hygiene by the American Board of Industrial Hygiene and holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Hygiene and Environmental Toxicology from Clarkson University.
Tim and members of the construction division of O’Rourke Incorporated will be joining the team at SES, adding a wealth of knowledge and a proven track record of success to SES’ growing portfolio. SES will be acquiring equipment for remediation, abatement, and decontamination projects and will be maintaining a new branch location at the O’Rourke Incorporated headquarters in Owego, NY.
