Matthew Norsen

Matthew Norsen is a Safety and Compliance Manager; he is responsible for driving the safety culture at Sessler Environmental Services and executing all appropriate measures to ensure that the health and safety of the company’s employees are protected.  He promotes a safe work environment and ensures that the company site-specific health and safety plan is being implemented.  Matt provides employees with current training opportunities in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, and all corporate and division policies and procedures.

He is also recognized as a Certified Safety Manager (CSM) through the National Association of Safety Professionals (NASP).

Matt is a combat veteran; having served in the Army and Army Reserves for 25 years and comes to Sessler Environmental Services with many years of general and construction industry experience.

When not working, Matt enjoys home and yard projects, spending time with his family, and working on his classic car.  Matt is an active member of the American Legion, VFW, and the Wounded Warrior Project.  He also dedicates his time to volunteering with the Veteran’s Affairs Center, the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC), and eCYBERMISSION.
