Halloween is here and there is no job too spooky for Sessler Environmental Services!

SES was contracted to rehabilitate a former psychiatric center that was originally constructed in 1843 as one of the nation’s first publicly funded institutions for the mentally ill.

We began by securing the exterior openings, safely relocating the pigeon population, and removing the guano. SES then removed the loose and flaking lead-based paint materials on the ceilings and walls, and abated the asbestos located in the floor tile and pipe insulation. Finally, exterior improvements were conducted including removal of all vine growth and window bars. Polycarbonate covers were then installed over all windows and select door openings.
