Sessler Environmental Services Acquires Central NY Firm

Sessler Environmental Services (SES) has acquired the construction division of O’Rourke Inc.

SES, one of the largest environmental services contractors in New York, is headquartered in Macedon and has an office in the Mohawk Valley in Oriskany.

The company performs abatement, environmental remediation, interior demolition, concrete saw cutting and removal, industrial cleaning and environmental investigation services.

The addition of O’Rourke gives SES an office in Owego. O’Rourke has provided soil vapor mitigation, bulk storage tank removal and abatement and demolition services since 1994. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

“We’ve had the pleasure of working alongside SES on numerous projects over recent years and it was a natural fit for us to make this move, enhancing our offerings with the horsepower that SES brings to the table,” Tim O’Rourke said in a news release.

SES is a subsidiary of Sessler Companies, a generational family owned and operated enterprise that has a wide variety of specialties, including real estate development and recreational resort management.
