- Safeguard all existing constructions since the building held historical significance
- Meticulously planned and measured pieces weighing up to 12,000 pounds before hoisting and removing them
Sessler Environmental Services (SES) undertook a project that involved the removal of an existing entrance standing at a height of over 30 feet. Adding complexity to the task was the requirement to safeguard all existing constructions since the building held historical significance.
Once the demolition of the entrance structure was completed, SES proceeded with the removal of the remaining structural concrete. To ensure safety during this process, SES meticulously planned and measured pieces weighing up to 12,000 pounds before hoisting and removing them.
Various pieces of equipment were employed by SES throughout this project. This included an excavator, scissor lift, mini-skid steer, telescoping forklift, hydraulic vacuum, gas, hi-cycle sawing equipment, and a 90-ton crane. Each piece of equipment played a crucial role in executing different aspects of the project efficiently and safely.
