Groundwater Treatment System Removal

Project Location: Fayette, Ohio

Project Highlights:

• Removed six above-ground tanks ranging in capacity from 1,000 to 7,500 gallons.
• Managed tank sludge in compliance with regulations as a listed hazardous waste.
• Dismantled a groundwater treatment system designed for the remediation of TCE-contaminated groundwater.
• Isolated the treatment system’s electrical supply from the existing facility’s electrical system.
• Removed several thousand feet of conveyance piping from an active warehouse.
• Disposed of the removed piping in compliance with regulations as a listed hazardous waste.
• Performed work in an active facility.
